About the Role:
FirstLight Home Care of Guilford and Jacksonville, NC is seeking a compassionate male caregiver to join our dedicated team in Jacksonville, NC. If you have a passion for helping others and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises.
  • Assist with meal preparation and nutrition management.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Document and report changes in client conditions to the care team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field is a plus.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and training.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $15.05 - $17.00 per hour
