About the Role:
Join FirstLight Home Care of Jacksonville, NC as a CNA/PCA, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential care and support in a home setting.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Transport clients to appointments and assist with mobility.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Current CNA or PCA certification in North Carolina.
  • Previous experience in home care or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Background check and drug screening required.

Compensation: $15.05 per hour
